TIG Welders / Fabricators with Blueprint Reading Skills Job brief
We are looking for skilled TIG welders/fabricators to join our team, either at our facilities or on-site at construction projects. In this role, you will cut, assemble, and join metals with precision using TIG welding techniques. You’ll be working on high-quality mechanical structures that form the backbone of reliable, long-lasting infrastructure.
You should be experienced with TIG welding and able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. A steady hand, eye for detail, and strong safety awareness are essential. Knowledge of different metals, particularly stainless steel, is a must.
Responsibilities- Work closely with your team to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Interpret instructions and follow work schedules
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment and machinery
- Apply TIG welding techniques to various grades of stainless steel (Inox)
- Read blueprints and drawings; take accurate measurements to plan layouts
- Select the appropriate welding method and tools based on project requirements
- Cut materials using powered saws or other tools to precise dimensions
- Prepare parts using angle grinders or similar tools
- Align and clamp components using measuring tools (e.g. calipers, rulers)
- Weld components in multiple positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)
- Perform repairs by welding and gap filling
- Inspect welds and finished products for quality and safety
- Maintain equipment and work spaces in safe, clean condition
- Proficient in Dutch
- Proven experience as a TIG welder/fabricator
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to work on-site when needed
- Skilled in TIG welding for both fine-detail and heavy-duty work
- Proficient in using electrical/manual tools (e.g. saws, calipers, squares)
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Solid understanding of workplace safety and use of protective gear
- High level of precision and attention to detail
- Welding certification (e.g. AWS or equivalent) is a strong plus
