Your Impact:As a QA Engineer at Deliverect, you will play a crucial role in upholding our quality standards by working alongside development teams to test and roll out new features. Your expertise will directly contribute to the stability and excellence of our platform, ensuring a seamless experience for our global customers while continuously improving our testing processes and methodologies.
Job Details:- Fluency in English is required, with strong written and verbal skills being essential.
- This is a full-time, hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, offering 3 days in our Ghent, Belgium office and 2 days from the comfort of your home.
- Collaborate with multiple development teams to ensure their output consistently meets established quality standards.
- Define, maintain, and enforce quality gates tailored to varying product life cycles.
- Partner with development teams and product stakeholders to strategize and execute testing and roll‑out plans for new features.
- Conduct acceptance testing on feature outputs to verify they meet requirements.
- Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of release and deployment processes.
- Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git Hub Actions) to streamline deployment.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve workflow efficiency.
- Monitor the health and stability of deployments in close collaboration with development teams.
- Manage stakeholder expectations concerning releases and make informed, critical decisions, especially under pressure.
- Design, write, and maintain automated tests across our diverse testing projects, including system and performance tests (Python, Pytest, Locust) and browser/mobile automation (Type Script, Playwright, Webdriver
IO). - Propose, drive, and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and improving customer experience, such as improving system observability, refining documentation, exploring AI in test automation, or training support teams on debugging.
- 3+ years demonstrable experience in software quality assurance, including designing test strategies, planning, execution, and automation within an agile, fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining automated tests using Python (with frameworks like Pytest, Locust) and Type Script (with frameworks like Playwright, Webdriver
IO). - A strong sense of ownership and initiative, readily identifying what needs to be done and proactively driving tasks to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to describe situations clearly and provide the right amount of information to diverse stakeholders effectively.
- A meticulous and detail‑oriented approach to testing, with a natural curiosity and strong analytical skills to thoroughly investigate and resolve issues.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git Hub Actions).
