Automation of Qubit Characterization with Machine Learning
Master internship – Leuven – more than two weeks ago
Qubit characterization requires multiple measurement steps—initial sweep, averaging, voltage level adjustments. Some parameters can be set programmatically; others still need manual intervention for new, previously unmeasured qubits. In this internship, a student will explore how machine learning can eliminate the need for manual intervention, making qubit characterization fully automatic. The focus is on measurement software development in Python.
