Squad Lead

Cosmote Global Solutions NV , a key player in the ICT industry and part of the OTE Group of Companies, is seeking an experienced Squad Lead to lead and mentor a dynamic team of software professionals. This role focuses on ensuring the successful delivery of projects while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Owns end-to-end delivery accountability across all squad work streams and applications — from technical architecture and Kanban flow through to production deployment.
• Manages cross-app dependencies, leads the technical shift strategy, and is the single project management interface with head of unit and senior management.
• Coaches the team, drives continuous improvement, and coordinate decisions with the Product Owner, Technical Lead and QA Lead.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 11+ years of experience in software development and team leadership roles.
• Experience in software engineering as a team lead or technical lead.
• Hands‑on background in Java and/or JavaScript / React development.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile and Kanban, including WIP management and flow metrics.
• Experience managing technical migrations or platform shifts.
• Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and release management.
• Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business‑level status and risk language.
• Proven delivery accountability — ownership of outcomes, not just execution.
