Software Engineering Intern

Software Engineering Intern (AdTech):
Contributing to the development and integration of publisher measurement tools with an accent on client-side browser APIs and serverless backend components. Focus on building scalable data processing solutions, collaborating within an agile team, and leveraging agentic AI workflows to solve complex engineering challenges.

Must be based in or near Ghent, Belgium; expected to work on-site at least 3 days/week.

Double Verify is a leading global software analytics firm providing transparency and data measurement solutions for the digital advertising industry at massive scale.

• Participate in daily standups, engineering discussions, and peer code reviews.
• Collaborate on the development of native browser API integrations for publisher measurement.
• Build and maintain serverless backend components for request processing.
• Own a specific project from initial conception through to final delivery.
• Utilize AI coding agents to accelerate development and improve codebase efficiency.
• Work with infrastructure as code and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

• Currently enrolled as a Master's student in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Proactive collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work on-site in the Ghent office.

• Familiarity with JavaScript and Type Script.
• Experience with browser APIs, serverless workers, and web technologies.
• Knowledge of automated software testing and code profiling.
• Public Git Hub projects or Open Source contributions.
