Full stack developer

Fujitsu is a global technology company and innovation partner supporting organisations in their digital transformation. Within international collaborations, Fujitsu plays an active role in developing solutions around data, security and digital identity.

For a strategic European project, we are looking for a Full-stack Developer who is motivated to contribute to innovative solutions with societal impact.

You will contribute to Medi Synth, a European collaborative project focused on the creation of synthetic health data.

Within this initiative, Fujitsu’s role is to define a secure framework for the controlled sharing of health data across the EU. This includes:

• securely exchange health data
• retain full control over their own data and infrastructure
• share data in a privacy-compliant and GDPR-aligned manner
• anonymising data through controlled processes
• enabling the secure sharing and execution of not only data, but also AI models and software

You will work in an international environment with partners from research, industry and healthcare.

The project is currently in a prototype phase, with a clear roadmap towards production in the coming years.

As a Full-stack Developer, you will actively contribute to the development of the platform.

• Build solutions within a Type Script environment (React and Node.js/NestJS)
• Work across both frontend and backend, with a strong focus on backend development and underlying concepts
• Develop and integrate new functionalities within an existing architecture
• Contribute to technical discussions and system design
• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply them where relevant

This is a hands‑on development role, with the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions within an existing architectural framework.

• Strong experience with Type Script
• backend development (Node.js, NestJS or similar)
• frontend development (React or similar)
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies and modern software development practices
• Ability to quickly understand and apply complex technical concepts
• Experience with Python
• Knowledge of Dev Ops tooling and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Basic knowledge of digital identity (SSI, Verifiable Credentials, Identity Wallets)
• Basic knowledge of blockchain technology (e.g. smart contracts, tokens)
• Understanding th AI based development methods is a plus
• Familiarity with or interest in:
  • C4 model (structuring and visualising systems)
  • UML (modelling systems and flows)

• Medior to senior developer
• Curious, proactive and able to quickly grasp new concepts
• Interest in complex and innovative domains such as data, security and digital identity
• Strong team player, comfortable in an international environment
• Languages:
  
  English and Dutch (French is a plus)
