Are you a junior or mid-level looking for an exciting opportunity in logistics & international trade? Challenge Handling is looking for a Cargo Officer Import/Export to join the team of John Lebiere and Sami Khalifa. The position is based at Liège Airport, Belgium.

• Work closely with the Import/Export Referent, providing feedback on operational objectives.
• Report any operational issues requiring decision‑making support.
• Oversee the import/export workflow (acceptance, release, trucking).
• Monitor and ensure effective customs clearance.
• Collect and verify all required transport documents (mandates, MRN requests, AWB, licenses, etc.).
• Register and track cargo movements in our system, ensuring data accuracy.
• Handle special shipments such as dangerous goods, live animals, and pharmaceuticals.

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, or equivalent experience
• Fluent in English (B2 minimum) – other languages is a plus!
• Rigorous, quick learner & proactive
• Strong communication skills – both oral and written
• Organized and autonomous, able to handle stress and high‑paced operations
• Able to work in a team and available for shift work – including nights
