• Administer school curriculum consistent with district goals and objectives.
• Promote a safe classroom environment conducive to individualized and small group instruction.
• Develop and translate lesson plans into engaging learning experiences.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and modify instruction to meet individual needs, including students with special needs.
• Instruct students on responsible citizenship, applicable laws, and administrative regulations.
• Achieve professional growth by attending seminars, workshops, or conducting research.
• Maintain accurate records, grading, and reporting of student activities, achievements, and attendance.
• Encourage parental involvement and maintain effective communication with students and parents.
• Enforce student conduct standards and establish classroom behavior expectations.
• Coordinate with professional staff to evaluate curriculum, and participate in faculty meetings and committees.
• Requisition appropriate instructional materials and maintain inventory records.
• Supervise students during out‑of‑classroom activities, including school transportation activities.
• Administer standardized tests in accordance with district testing programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university or college.
• Current Montana Educators License.

• Knowledge of current teaching methods, educational pedagogy, and differentiation based on learning styles.
• Knowledge of high school curriculum and concepts.
• Knowledge of data systems, analysis, and action planning.
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state education laws.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Skill in classroom instruction and use of educational technology.
• Skill in preparing and maintaining accurate records using pertinent software.
• Ability to use computer networks and applications as needed.
• Ability to organize and coordinate work efficiently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Ability to engage in self‑evaluation for professional growth.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage time effectively.
• Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to adjust daily work plans to meet school needs.
