Science, Math Teacher or Special Education

Full-time position at Turning Winds, a year‑round adolescent residential treatment center in Northwestern Montana.

Salary: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom instruction in Science or Math subject areas.
• Coordinate and facilitate non‑classroom experiential learning activities.
• Develop and prepare lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Maintain records and reports regarding each student's attendance and educational development.
• Follow behavioral management plans, policies, and procedures and report occurrences correctly.
• Meet with faculty, parents or families.
• Participate in school events, graduations, and group activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Meeting professional teacher education requirements of school, district, state.
• Math or Science teaching credential or subject certification.
• State certification.
• Teaching experience.
• Knowledge of relevant technology.
