Minimum Qualifications
- 2‑year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Montana State Driver’s License
- 1 year of experience in child care or an educational setting
- Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards
- All applicants must obtain an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education within an eighteen‑month timeline if hired without an AA. Failure to adhere to this policy may jeopardize employment with Head Start. This policy is required by the new National Head Start Standards.
- TB Test (upon hire)
- Pass criminal background check (upon hire)
- Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification
- Must comply with the Rocky Boy Head Start drug testing policies
- Must obtain a physical examination every 2 years
