QA Manager

Our client is one of the largest professional certification associations in the finance industry globally and uses Data Art as its primary technology partner.
The QA Manager will lead the modernization of the Quality Engineering function, overseeing the adoption and integration of advanced automation tools and AI-driven testing methods. The role involves managing QA strategy, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of new automation and AI-enabled QA capabilities across the organization.
We are seeking a forward-thinking QA Manager with strong leadership experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of modern test automation practices, experience leading QA teams, and familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools such as Cursor. This role will drive the adoption of Playwright MCP and Type Script automation frameworks while promoting innovation, scalability, and continuous improvement across QA processes.

* Lead and manage the QE Modernization initiative, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivery timelines.

* Define and drive QA strategy, standards, and best practices across manual and automated testing processes.

* Collaborate with QA, development, product, and engineering leadership teams to define objectives, priorities, and success metrics.

* Drive the adoption of Playwright MCP and Type Script as core automation technologies within the organization.

* Coordinate with AI experts and tool vendors to integrate AI-powered testing tools such as Cursor into the QA ecosystem.

* Manage QA modernization risks, dependencies, resource planning, and change management activities.

* Lead and mentor QA engineers and automation specialists, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.

* Oversee test planning, test execution, quality metrics, and reporting processes.

* Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and mitigation plans.

* Champion continuous improvement and innovation in Quality Engineering practices.

* Five or more years of experience in QA leadership, QA management, or Quality Engineering management roles.

* Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing processes, and modern automation frameworks.

* Experience leading QA transformation or automation modernization initiatives.

* Familiarity with Playwright MCP, Type Script, and modern test automation tools.

* Experience with AI-driven testing tools such as Cursor or similar technologies.

* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive cross-team collaboration.

* Demonstrated success managing QA activities within Agile development environments.

* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Hands-on background in software development or test automation engineering.

* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.

* Experience in finance, regulatory compliance, or related industries.
