Main Responsibilities:

• Handles, controls, adjusts, maintains, and cares for machines and equipment on the production line to function within the set parameters in terms of safety, quality, performance, and reliability.
• Performs visual control of packaging, prepares and services palletizer, stretcher, and strapper in accordance with the current production plan (cardboard, pallets, strap tapes, stretch film).
• Monitors, analyzes, and records parameters related to machine operation and production process.
• Eliminates causes of machine stoppages and eliminates malfunctions.
• Informs superiors of all interventions that require a halt in production or a change in parameters and notifies them when the intervention is completed.
• Reports to superiors on his/her work in accordance with the procedures within the Department.
• Reports to superiors on all observed risks.
• Reports to the next team on all events related to the current machine operation and indicates the measures taken.
• Regularly performs quality checks of the work he/she performs.
• Participates in regular and extraordinary repairs and maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Regularly cleans the space, machines, and equipment in his/her work environment and maintains them in accordance with established hygiene criteria and standards.
• Participates in the implementation and maintenance of Lean standards.
• Provides suggestions and participates in projects for continuous process improvement (Business excellence).
• Indicates and proposes solutions to reduce costs in his/her area of work.

Conditions:

• Minimum secondary vocational training in a machine or electrical trade
• 2 years of experience in a production environment
• Knowledge of the English language is desirable
