Position: RN- Internal Medicine Belgrade Clinic (FT- 0.9 FTE, Day Shift)

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.

Minimum Qualifications

Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
American Heart Association BLS certification
2 years nursing experience
Competence in and willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Computer ability and knowledge of electronic health record operating systems
Outpatient or Walk‑In clinic experience

Essential Job Functions

Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or the situation (Assessment).

Analyze the assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis).

Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation.

Develop a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes (Plan of Care).

Implement the identified plan of care.

Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.

Systematically enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.

Attain knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice.

Evaluate one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules and regulations.

Schedule Requirements

This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40‑hour workweek, including weekends and after‑hours shifts. On‑call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
