The Sales Associate is responsible for greeting customers, answering their questions, and maintaining a clean and organized store to ensure a seamless customer experience. The Sales Associate is also responsible for Impacting Lives Always and actively participating in the team to provide exceptional customer service.

• Greeting Customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Assisting Customers as needed and answering questions about products and services.
• Answering customer calls in all areas of the store.
• Maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and returns.
• Knowledge of security practices to reduce shrink.
• Stocking and facing shelves to maintain orderly and shoppable store appearance.
• Collaborating with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales goals.
• Cleaning and organizing the store; placing back stock on shelves.
• Occasionally operating a cash register, ringing up customers, and taking payment.
• Assisting customers with finding items on the sales floor, locating items, and pulling product off shelves.
• Communicating via radio, which includes speaking into and listening for radio communications.
• Answering phones and directing calls.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety.
• Other duties as required.

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• General math skills.
• Ability to use judgment to respond to customers’ needs.
• Ability to use judgment and know when to call for a supervisor’s assistance.
• Basic safety knowledge and understanding.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hardware products and tools preferred.
• Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• This position requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
