Assistant Retail Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Model, train, and ensure exquisite customer service and salesmanship
• Assist the rest of your team to meet and exceed sales and margin goals
• Creatively develop sales
• Merchandise and use effective displays for sales floor and store windows with the direction of a manager
• Regularly refresh store layouts with the direction of the location manager
• Assists in training and coaching staff formally and informally using our company training principles
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment
• Provide complete and accurate information.
• Identify and fix technical errors
• Identify and correct any problem that interferes with an associate’s ability to efficiently do their job and/or provide customer satisfaction
• Provide accurate and helpful feedback and communication to all managers, associates, support staff, etc.
• Work collaboratively with other managers to accomplish company objectives

• Be a dynamic leader and coach
• Experience in both Retail is required
• Gold Standard model of company customer service with sales and Handbook values
• Have great communication skills

This role is ideal for individuals with experience or interest in retail management, gift and specialty stores, and airport or travel retail environments. Backgrounds in high-volume retail operations, merchandising, inventory control, and team leadership are highly relevant. Candidates with experience in airport concessions, resort or national park retail (such as Big Sky), or companies like Hudson, Paradies Lagardère, Delaware North, or local Montana retailers will find this role especially aligned.

Leadership experience in fast-paced, customer-focused environments is key to success.
