Location:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative – New Installation to successfully bid and secure installation contracts, develop strong relationships with new and existing customers, and ensure profitable new installation jobs while driving branch revenue goals.
Responsibilities- Coordinate with architects, general contractors, TKE operations team, consultants, building managers, and owners in the pre‑bidding of new installation jobs and maintain market awareness of projects and competitors.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of company products by attending training classes and studying factory equipment manuals and supplier information, including local elevator code requirements.
- Create quoting and bidding packages by obtaining blueprints, attending job walks, conducting onsite surveys, reviewing specs, and working with operations for completeness and accuracy to ensure profitability.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of beneficial NI/MOD features and determine customer needs to develop sales strategies.
- Present bids to customers and explain cost factors, emphasizing construction, performance, durability, and appearance of equipment.
- Partner with operations to negotiate the Scope of Work (SOW) and collaborate with contract administrators, sales support, and legal teams as required.
- Develop capital plans for customers to address short‑ and long‑term building needs.
- Upon customer acceptance, coordinate submittal packages through the approval process and create change orders as requested.
- Visit project sites, attend customer meetings, and work with operations to ensure customer needs and deadlines are met.
- Utilize the Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool to update and manage the sales pipeline.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of business‑to‑business sales experience.
- Strong attention to detail with proactive follow‑up skills.
- Demonstrated success in a fast‑paced environment.
- Outstanding ability to build and nurture relationships with customers, team members, and cross‑functional colleagues.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Salesforce experience (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and blueprint drawings (preferred).
