Role Description The Parts Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Belgrade, MT. This position is responsible for assisting customers at the counter and over the phone with identifying, sourcing, and selling plumbing parts and related products. Day-to-day tasks include providing product information and recommendations, processing orders and returns, and ensuring accurate pricing and documentation. The role also involves maintaining stock levels in the parts area, supporting inventory counts, organizing displays, and coordinating with the warehouse team for timely fulfillment.
The Parts Sales Representative collaborates closely with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality service and contribute to sales growth.
- Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and handle inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Sales skills with experience in recommending products, closing sales, and supporting add-on and upsell opportunities.
- Inventory control skills, including basic stock management, order tracking, and attention to product accuracy and organization.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing products or related building materials, or willingness to learn quickly on the job.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for order entry, research, and documentation.
- Ability to stand, move, and lift moderately heavy items as part of daily work in a counter and warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in wholesale distribution, retail parts sales, or plumbing supply is preferred but not required.
