Position Summary

We are looking for a Furniture Installer to add to our team. You will be expected to install and assemble office furniture, including systems furniture, case goods, lounge furniture, accessories, etc., within customers' facilities in a professional and efficient manner. You will be responsible for timely completion of projects with a high level of workmanship and customer service.

• Install and assemble office furniture, including systems furniture, case goods, lounge furniture, and accessories in customers  facilities.
• Ensure projects are completed on time with a high level of workmanship and customer service.

• Eye for detail
• Ability to read plans (architectural and furniture) for specific furniture locations and arrangements (preferred)
• Ability to read furniture assembly instructions (preferred)
• Ability to use technology such as a phone to look up information on projects and receive instructions
• Ability to take instruction from others
• Ability to work well with a team, and also work independently
• Self-motivated
• Problem solving is key
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a consistent basis
• Customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally with customers and coworkers

• Experience working with hands and basic tools – mechanically inclined
