Freelance Robot Operator

About the Position

We’re hiring a Robot Operator to join our dynamic team in Belgrade. This is a vital, hands‑on role focused on high‑quality data collection and testing, bridging physical interaction with robotics development. You will perform precise task trajectories via VR teleoperation, evaluate AI control policies on real robots, and support engineers with lab setups.

• Data collection on the robot: perform high volumes of high‑quality task trajectories via VR teleoperation or other robot control methods, strictly following the provided documentation. Monitor the working environment (cameras, VR systems, computing equipment) during data collection.
• Data collection on other wearable devices: perform high volumes of high‑quality task trajectories with cameras and some other devices attached, strictly following the provided documentation.
• AI model/policy evaluation: assess the performance of robot control policies, following the detailed test instructions provided for each policy.
• Engineering support: support engineers on setting up equipment or in other robotics activities

• Hands‑on experience with industrial robots, robotic arms, or mobile robotics.
• Experience with Linux‑like systems and the command line.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and operational protocols accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and tolerance for repetitive, long‑duration work.
• Good communication skills for working with engineers and following live instructions.
• Confident use of VR controllers or similar hardware interfaces.
