Job DetailsWe are currently seeking a seasoned Permanent Metallurgist to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metallurgical manufacturing and a passion for continuous learning and innovation. Responsibilities- 1. Perform detailed metallurgical analysis and testing on various metals to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
- 2. Develop and implement metallurgical procedures and processes that improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- 3. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and improve product performance.
- 4. Conduct failure analysis investigations to determine the root cause of product failures and develop corrective actions.
- 5. Assist in the selection of materials for new product development and provide expert advice on material properties and behavior.
- 6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards related to metallurgy.
- 7. Prepare detailed reports on metallurgical testing, findings, and recommendations.
- 1. A Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. would be a plus.
- 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in metallurgical manufacturing, preferably in a similar industry.
- 3. Strong knowledge of metallurgical testing methods and procedures.
- 4. Experience with failure analysis and root cause analysis.
- 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- 6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- 7. Proficiency in using software applications related to metallurgy and manufacturing.
- 8. A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 9. A commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements.
