Overview

We are looking for a rockstar Dishwasher to join our kitchen team here at Parkwest Bicycle Casino!

You'll be responsible for all functions as an integral part of the F&B team by ensuring that all dishes, pot, pans, cutlery, glasses, stemware, and other kitchen utensils are properly and safely cleaned and stored. • Washes pots, pans, glassware, flatware, cups, glasses, and other dishes and containers used in preparation and service of food.
• Responsible for cleanliness of floors, walk-ins, freezers, drains, floor mats, grease traps and garbage disposals.
• Responsible for overall cleanliness of cooking equipment including, but not limited to, ovens, deep fryers, stoves, hoods, broilers, salamanders, griddles, and oriental equipment.
• Empties and sanitizes trash cans.
• Operates dishwashing machines.
• Responsible for overall cleanliness of kitchen areas, dish room. Storeroom, bake shop, deli, corridors and dock area.
• Provides Banquets with equipment and assist the Chef and Sous Check during banquets functions.
• Responsible for proper storage of chemicals and kitchen supplies.
• Other job related duties as assigned.

• Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test.
• Must possess a California Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, utensils and procedures.
• Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and co-workers.
• Available for scheduled work which may include weekends and evening scheduling; and ready for all programs and activities. Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
• Able to communicate clearly with team members.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to work within a team and respond to quick changes in priority.
• Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.

Education: No specific education required. High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent preferred.

Experience: One year experience in a kitchen of comparable quality preferred but not required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
