Production Assembly Lead

EnVision LED Lighting is a fast-growing import manufacturer specializing in innovative LED lighting products. Our commitment to quality and efficiency drives us to deliver cutting-edge solutions in the lighting industry.

This position leads and coordinates the daily operations of our Production Department including working with our Production Manager to assign work to techs, monitor performance and ensure quality in all products. This position is also responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment while meeting Production goals.

• Create diagrams & assembly work instructions using Smart Draw or other software.
• First time mockups of new assembly builds.
• Add tested and approved BOM in Net Suite based on sample verification and testing.
• Inspect all builds to ensure that lighting products are assembled according to the wiring diagram for quality assurance and the product has met safety standards.
• Assist our sales team & customer support on questions regarding assembly, installation and product specs.
• Recommend continuous improvement initiatives for our Production Department. Collaborate with Engineers to streamline Production efficiency and processes.
• Fabricate, assemble and test LED lighting products according to company specifications.
• Monitor employee performance, adjusting their level of builds as they grow and develop.
• Production goals set by leadership are met and areas of improvement are identified.

• Experience in engineering, technical support, or production assembly role is required.
• Experience in electrical wiring is essential.
• Able to create wiring diagrams.
• Must be computer proficient in MS Word, Excel, Net Suite
• Technical support whether directly or indirectly with customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Lean manufacturing and / or ISO
  9001 experience is a plus.
