Duties

• Operate clamp trucks and barcode scanning equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse
• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems, ensuring accurate order picking, shipping, and receiving processes
• Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and materials handling with proper safety techniques to prevent injuries
• Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime
• Assist with order picking activities for various departments, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and warehouse safety protocols during all operations
• Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock, managing storage locations, and optimizing space utilization

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklift equipment including clamp trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks in a busy warehouse environment
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control, shipping & receiving procedures, and barcode scanning technology
• Familiarity with warehouse safety standards such as OSHA regulations and heavy equipment operation best practices
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy
• Prior experience in warehouse supervision or materials handling roles is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety compliance and teamwork
