POSITION SUMMARYThe Food & Beverage Events Coordinator will be a part-time position, coordinating events at a Food & Beverage locations around the POA, including (but not limited to) Highlands Pub & Patio, BV Bar & Grill, Little Sugar Bistro, Gear Garden, Lakepoint Restaurant, and other potential Food & Beverage locations.
This position performs administrative, logistical, marketing, and project management tasks for the Bella Vista POA Food & Beverage Department. Incumbent must have the ability to work in a problem-solving, solution-focused environment. Will be responsible for arranging vendors, coordinating entertainment bookings, invoicing and overseeing the internal events calendar. Must have experience working in highly collaborative environments, must be a great listener, self- motivated, organized and meticulous, with a positive attitude.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and the ability to work some evenings and weekend events.
May require independent judgment in the disposition of routine matters without direct supervision. Will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Food & Beverage. Will work closely with various departments and decision-makers.
REQUIREMENTS,ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Provides support for recreation, food & beverage, golf operations, lakes and other departments' events throughout the year. In addition to other duties as assigned, will determine requirements, fair timelines and project management for all POA Membership-facing events.
- Work closely with entertainment vendors.
- Have a background in photography and video content.
- Understand the requirements of each event.
- Plan event with attention to detail and financial and time constraints.
- Coordinate all event operations.

- Manage content for external events calendar.
- Oversee the entertainment invoicing and management of talent bookings at all POA venues.
- Provide support and troubleshooting on-site at events.
- Evaluate success, identify issues and submit metrics reports post-event to improve future events.
- Must be budget conscious and aware of payment to each vendor.
- Must have a strong interest in events and event coordination management.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to organize and effectively communicate key data.
- Knowledge Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Must have the ability to recognize problems, develop recommendations and solutions, oversee corrections within assigned specialty; work effectively, independently and follow through on assignments; promote and maintain a team environment; work effectively with Members, vendors and senior managers; communicate orally and in writing; read, interpret and apply documentation.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Weekend and evening availability.
- Must exhibit excellence in Customer and Member Related Service with all customers.
