About the roleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced ERP Support Specialist to join a global manufacturing organisation and become a key member of its EMEA ERP Operations Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled IT professional with ERP support experience to work within a multinational environment, supporting critical business systems across multiple sites throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The successful candidate will provide first and second-line support for a range of ERP and business applications, ensuring a high-quality service for internal stakeholders while contributing to ongoing improvements, standardisation and best practise initiatives.
- Provide first and second-line support for ERP and business applications.
- Monitor and manage ERP helpdesk tickets, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating where required.
- Train and support business users on ERP functionality and best practices.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Support ERP-related projects, systems improvements and process changes.
- Monitor service quality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and operational procedures.
Experience with one or more of the following systems would be highly advantageous:
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- JD Edwards Enterprise One
- SAP ECC
- Sage Line 500
- Previous experience in an ERP/Application Support position.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical users.
- Experience working within a fast-paced support environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A customer‑focused approach and commitment to service excellence.
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- ERP certifications.
- Microsoft certifications.
- Knowledge of Office 365, Microsoft Azure or cloud‑based technologies.
- Understanding of networking infrastructure.
Experience supporting business‑critical systems.
