Matrix Medical Management is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team!
SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for performing administrative day-to-day operations in support of the Finance Department, specifically regarding Accounts Payable transactions. The Accounts Payable Clerk is required to handle confidential information and work independently but with supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Provide s support to the Finance Department Accounts Payable team.
- Performs various administrative responsibilities in supporting the daily departmental operations.
- Performs basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail and other duties.
- Handles communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
- Process es transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets.
- Assist s with audits, fact checks and resolving discrepancies.
- Updates information and scans into database.
- Follows through with mailing and postage for completed files.
- Assists with pick up and deliveries of miscellaneous items.
- Assists in verifying accuracy of invoice with the appropriate party.
- Supports tracking of all payments including payroll allocations, purchase orders, invoices and statements.
- Maintain and analyze the accounts payable system and vendor database (including 1099 details, mailing addresses, and account information).
- Support month-end and year-end reconciliations, and audit requests.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
- Knowledge of administrative and accounting procedures and systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
- Strong typing , organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- High School diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of experience in accounts payable, accounting or related function
- 3 Medical Plans

Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Employment for this position is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
