Director of Sales and Marketing

Job Summary

The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive patient referrals, expand provider partnerships, and increase revenue growth for Curbside Infusion. This role leads business development efforts, strengthens relationships with physicians and healthcare partners, and oversees marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness in the infusion and biologics space. The Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership, clinical operations, billing, and scheduling teams to ensure alignment between sales growth, operational capacity, and patient care excellence.

The ideal candidate has experience in specialty infusion services, biologics, provider relations, and healthcare sales, with a proven track record of driving measurable growth in competitive markets. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain high‑value relationships while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and fair‑market‑value standards. It is a salaried position with a commission/bonus structure paid quarterly.

Travel is required, as the position will need to travel to clients quarterly to meet with them and assess progress. A post‑survey must be completed to receive credit for client visits.

Qualifications / Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or related healthcare/business discipline) preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Executive (CSE), Healthcare Marketing certification, or similar) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5‑7 years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, business development, or marketing.
  • Required experience in specialty infusion services, biologics, or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Familiarity with Houston, TX, surrounding areas, multi‑state healthcare markets strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success building referral networks with physicians, clinics, and specialty providers.
Key Responsibilities Bellaire Suite Patient Ramp‑Up & Revenue Growth (Primary Priority)
  • Develop and execute a targeted growth strategy to significantly increase patient volume at the Curbside Bellaire Suite.
  • Build and strengthen referral relationships with rheumatology, gastroenterology, neurology, immunology, and oncology practices in the greater Houston area.
  • Identify underutilized referral sources and re‑engage inactive providers.
  • Conduct consistent in‑person physician visits, lunch‑and‑learns, and educational presentations.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations and Nursing to ensure capacity planning aligns with projected referral growth.
  • Collaborate with Billing to ensure payer mix optimization and biologics reimbursement strategy.
  • Establish monthly ramp‑up targets (new starts, referral volume, conversion rates).
  • Track and report Bellaire‑specific KPIs to Executive Leadership.
  • Develop competitive differentiation messaging specific to the Bellaire market.
Biologics & Specialty Therapy Expansion
  • Drive growth of high‑value biologic therapies (IVIG, biosimilars, Entyvio, Ocrevus, etc.).
  • Support onboarding of new therapies and specialty partnerships.
  • Align sales strategy with buy‑and‑bill and specialty pharmacy pathways.
  • Monitor therapy‑level profitability and reimbursement performance.
Physician & Strategic Relationship Development
  • Establish new provider contracts and referral partnerships.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with key physician groups.
  • Serve as executive liaison for high‑value referral accounts.
Sales Leadership & Accountability
  • Build and manage business development team.
  • Implement structured CRM tracking and pipeline management.
  • Set measurable revenue and referral growth goals.
  • Develop performance‑based commission structures.
  • Attend conferences, as needed.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning
  • Lead digital, event, and provider‑facing marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee campaign ROI and patient acquisition analytics.
  • Strengthen Curbside’s brand visibility in the Houston market.
