Job Summary

The Program Manager, Compliance Auditing & Monitoring leads the execution of the organization’s Compliance Audit Plan, ensuring activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational priorities. This role supervises audit and monitoring staff, providing direction, oversight, and performance coaching while managing multiple engagements to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant outcomes. The Program Manager reviews audit work, leverages data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness, and ensures findings and corrective actions are properly documented and communicated.

Additionally, the role supports the annual risk assessment process and collaborates with leadership to address emerging compliance risks and organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Degrees
    :
    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Informatics, Healthcare Administration or other business-related field. Preferred:
    Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
  • Licenses & Certifications
    :
    Cert Health Compliance (Preferred), Certified Public Accountant (Preferred).
  • Work Experience
    :
    Five (5) years supervising and coordinating audit and monitoring activities in a healthcare or regulated environment; experience using data analytics, data mining, compliance investigations, and electronic health record data to support audit planning, testing, and follow-up activities. Preferred:
    Knowledge of Epic EMR, proficiency in data analytics technology.
  • Management Experience
    :
    Two (2) years supervising staff and overseeing day-to-day work activities; experience supporting audit or oversight activities in an organizational or regulated environment.
  • Communication Skills
    :
    Above-average verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively; writing/reporting ability to prepare clear, detailed written reports summarizing audit scope, findings, compliance risk analysis, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    :
    Analytical abilities; mathematics; proficiency with EHR system (Epic), ACL Analytics, data mining tools; research knowledge; statistical knowledge; transcription.
  • Work Schedule
    :
    Flexible ability to manage multiple priorities; eligible for telecommute.
  • Other Requirements
    :
    Extensive experience in auditing, healthcare, data analytics and/or ACL; high proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, personal computer, typing; equipment operated: PC.
