Overview

Belle Fourche, Apr 3. Albany Farms is bringing a state-of-the-art ramen noodle production line to Belle Fourche, SD and we are looking for hard working, dedicated Production Line Team Members. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working at various stations along the production line processing high quality ramen noodles. Albany Farms Production Line Team Members must be a team player, with the ability to multitask and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities
  • Train and manage production team members on the assigned shift.
  • Recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, utilize appropriate safety equipment, and report unsafe conditions to the shift supervisor or plant manager.
  • Operate various manufacturing line equipment, follow specific directions, and use hand tools when necessary.
  • Ensure product quality output. Alert plant manager and maintenance team as necessary if adjustments of the line process are needed.
  • Perform quality checks of ramen noodles as defined by specifications.
  • Assure components and processes comply with quality specifications before moving on to the next stage in production line.
  • Suggest improvements that contribute to improved quality, increased productivity and/or improved work environment.
  • Comply with stopping the process if safety is at risk or quality requirements cannot be met.
  • Keep up with the pace of the surrounding environment.
  • Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards including food sanitation (GMP) guidelines.
  • Responsible for any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate must:
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to stand/walk/listen for up to 8-10 hours per shift
  • Frequent use of hands to feel or operate machinery
  • Must be punctual and have proven good attendance
  • Able to perform repetitive movements
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable with working in variable temperatures (hot and/or cold)
  • Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Be a team player and communicate well with others
  • Able to work at a fast pace in a repetitive environment
  • Quality, safety-minded, reliable, precise, and self-motivated
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and report unsafe acts and conditions
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Participate in Albany Farms quality and safety training programs
  • Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is a plus
  • Pass a pre-offer employment drug screen and background check
