Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg 5W

Location:

Mercy Hospital South – 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:

Full‑Time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Sign‑On Bonus:
Experienced Nurses – Up to $10,000;
New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience) – Up to $5,000

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Diploma in Nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
• Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
• Certifications: Required:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
  Preferred: BLS continuing education, ACLS, PALS, or specialty certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN preferred
  • Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
  • Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties.
