Science Instructor

Requirements

A valid Ohio Department of Education teaching license with the ability to instruct high school science, preferably integrated science,(grades 6-12). Master’s degree in content area, or 18 semester graduate hours in Biology preferred. Instructional areas of focus include Chemistry and Material Science.

Plan and deliver engaging classroom instruction with lessons aligned to the state standards and the district’s board of education approved curriculum to help students master science content. Maintain a high expectation for student performance and provide support to help build mastery skills. Use scientifically proven instructional practices and assess student learning. Work collaboratively with students, parents and school personnel.
