Position Highlights- Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN
- Shift: 12‑Hour shifts (To be discussed during submission based on current unit openings)

- Provide full‑spectrum L&D clinical care, performing comprehensive head‑to‑toe maternal/fetal assessments and rapid re‑assessments as patient conditions evolve.
- Formulate, implement, and dynamically revise individualized patient plans of care, adjusting daily based on clinical responses to treatment.
- Safely manage, operate, and titrate high‑alert obstetric medications following strict medication safety protocols and the "Five Rights" framework.
- Act as a vital liaison between physicians, care coordinators, administration, and patients to streamline delivery and post‑discharge workflows.
- Provide robust patient and family education regarding pain management, care tracking, and postpartum transition, ensuring cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs are honored.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent, dedicated Labor & Delivery experience.
- Certifications
Required:
Active AHA BLS and NRP. (AWHONN and ACLS are highly preferred depending on final facility placement). - Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Core Competencies: Proven ability to remain highly organized and functionally effective in fast‑paced, high‑stress emergency clinical scenarios. Competency in bedside point‑of‑care waived testing (e.g., blood glucose tracking) is required.
