Pay & Incentives
- Base Pay: $30.84- $32.14 per hour
- Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour
- Perfect Attendance Bonus: $75weekly
- Scheduled incremental increases
Electricians perform electrical functions including, but not limited to, maintenance and repair of machines and electrical systems in the plant to ensure continuous and reliable operation of plant equipment.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Quality checks and documentation necessary for ISO compliance and customer requirements.
- Utilize CMMS (Maintain X) system for work execution and documentation.
- Ensure all HBD Safety Policies and Procedures are followed when performing job duties.
- Utilize established lockout/tag procedures when performing electrical duties and/or electrical testing, and when operating or attending equipment.
- Perform new electrical equipment installation and checkout.
- Complete all assigned preventative maintenance work assignments and documentation necessary for PM compliance and customer requirements.
- Exercise good housekeeping in maintenance shop area and perform clean-up after each maintenance job throughout facility.
- Perform other duties in the job classification as directed by leadership.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED, trade school certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 or 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of demonstrated electrical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Pass maintenance proficiency testing
- Demonstrated experience working with 480v and control voltage
- Experienced in working with contractors, sensors, relays and stop/start circuits preferred
- Successful completion of maintenance LMS training modules within 9-months
- The ability to use hand tools on a regular basis
- The ability to climb up onto and down from equipment on a regular basis
- The ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly on a regular basis
- The ability to stand continuously on a regular basis
- The ability to lift up-to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- The ability to exert medium force occasionally up to 50 lbs., and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
- The ability to work flexible and long hours
