Plumbing Superintendent

R.T. Moore Co., Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent I to oversee on-site plumbing installations for residential, multi-family, and light commercial construction projects. This role manages field crews, coordinates schedules, ensures code compliance, and upholds safety and quality standards. The Superintendent reads blueprints, plans material needs, partners with GCs and inspectors, and troubleshoots complex plumbing issues. You'll mentor apprentices, document progress, and support start ups and punch lists.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field plumbing installation on residential, multi-family, and commercial projects
• Supervise, schedule, and direct plumbing crews and subcontractors
• Interpret blueprints, specs, and plans to ensure accurate installation
• Coordinate with general contractors, other trades, and inspectors
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies
• Plan material and equipment needs and minimize rework and waste
• Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide technical guidance
• Train and mentor apprentices and less-experienced plumbers
• Track project progress, document work, and assist with punch lists
• Support start ups, inspections, and project close-out activities
