Warehouse Supervisor

Spartan Nash Associates, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations in our retail distribution center. You will oversee order picking, packing, and shipping of grocery products, ensuring accuracy, safety, and on time delivery to stores and customers. Key duties include assigning work, monitoring productivity, managing inventory flow, and enforcing OSHA and food safety standards. You'll train and coach associates, support continuous improvement, and partner with transportation and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping grocery products
• Assign, schedule, and monitor work for warehouse associates to meet productivity and accuracy targets
• Maintain inventory integrity through proper handling, documentation, and cycle counts
• Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA, company, and food-safety standards
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members, providing feedback and supporting career development
• Monitor performance metrics and initiate continuous improvement in processes and workflows
• Coordinate with transportation and supply chain teams to meet service and delivery goals
• Operate or oversee use of warehouse equipment and WMS systems to manage product flow
• Support staffing, onboarding, and cross-training to ensure adequate coverage across shifts
• Assist in resolving operational issues, discrepancies, and customer or store complaints related to orders
