The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and material flow operations while supporting a multi-shift unionized manufacturing operation. This position provides leadership and direction to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor and warehouse team while ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for inventory accuracy across all manufacturing departments including Mixing, Extrusion, Finishing, and Shipping/Receiving. This role develops and maintains cycle count programs, investigates inventory variances, drives process improvements, and ensures inventory transactions accurately reflect operational activity. The Warehouse Manager also partners with Customer Service, Planning, Production, Purchasing, and Logistics providers to resolve customer delivery escalations, manage shipping performance, and maintain adequate inventories of packaging and shipping supplies required to support business operations.

This role is fully onsite, must support all shifts of operations, and plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence, inventory integrity, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor and warehouse team.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, forklift requirements, and warehouse procedures.
• Support employee development, training, performance management, and succession planning activities.

• Develop, maintain, and execute a cycle count program across Mixing, Extrusion, Finishing, and Shipping/Receiving operations.
• Perform and oversee daily physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and transaction integrity.
• Analyze inventory variances and identify root causes related to material consumption, production reporting, scrap, remnants, and inventory transactions.
• Partner with Production, Planning, and Finance to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.
• Develop standard processes and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce inventory variance and improve material visibility.
• Maintain inventory control processes for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.

• Oversee warehouse operations supporting production and customer delivery requirements.
• Ensure efficient material movement between warehouse locations and manufacturing departments.
• Support production flow by ensuring materials are staged and available to Mixing, Extrusion, and Finishing operations.
• Monitor warehouse organization, storage utilization, and inventory controls.
• Drive improvements to warehouse productivity, material handling, and inventory management processes.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with union-represented employees and labor leadership while ensuring compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement

• Manage inventory levels for pallets, boxes, reels, packaging materials, labels, and shipping supplies.
• Partner with the Raw Material Buyer and suppliers to maintain appropriate inventory levels while controlling costs.
