Elevate your finance career as a Permanent Full-time Financial Analyst with the County of Hastings in Belleville, ON. This role focuses on financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance reporting.
As a critical member of the Finance Department management team, you will provide financial expertise to support County departments. Your responsibilities will include aiding in budget development, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. You will engage in various special projects to enhance departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide financial analysis for operating departments
• Support annual and long-term budget planning
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements
• Maintain internal controls and risk assessments
• Assist in financial year-end audits and reconciliations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation
• Minimum three years of relevant financial experience
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and communication skills
