Pay DetailsBase salary: $50,600 - $71,400 CAD. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, job‑related knowledge, geographic location and business needs.
Job DescriptionAt TD Canada Trust, we serve as the frontline of TD Bank, building deep and long‑lasting relationships with customers. We perform a broad range of customer service transactions, provide information and advice on services, products, and solutions, and promote opportunities that match customer needs while ensuring a positive experience.
Responsibilities- Advises customers on high‑level financial solutions including investment and credit banking products.
- Engages with customers through thoughtful questions, creating positive experiences that retain and deepen relationships.
- Increases customer financial confidence by offering personalized advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns; raises matters appropriately while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Acts as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems.
- Maintains a professional space in common areas according to marketing and regulatory guidelines.
- Works closely with existing and prospective customers to provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest solutions based on their financial goals.
- Stays knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes, and participates in process improvement to protect the organization.
- Strives to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets.
- Ensures documents are prepared in compliance with relevant regulations and accurately reflect business intentions.
- Participates fully as a team member, mentors others, and addresses communication issues efficiently.
- High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.
- Post‑secondary or undergraduate degree in related field is an asset.
- Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.
- CFSA must be completed within 12 months if hired.
- Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience is an asset.
- Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions and concepts to provide personalized advice to customers in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Proficiency in software tools including MS Office and internet applications.
- Tactful communicator who exchanges ideas and customer information concisely and logically.
- Self‑initiator with strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
