John’s Equipment Sales & Service is seeking a Full-Time Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic Apprentice to join their team.

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
• Service attachments and working tools

• Level 4 or 5 apprenticeship training
• 3 years to less than 5 years’ experience
• Cooling system
• Air conditioning system
• Major internal engine repairs or overhaul

• $21-$32 hourly – depending on experience / 40 hours per week
• Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
