This Mechanic role in the Public Works and Environmental Services department focuses on the inspection, repair, and maintenance of municipal vehicles and equipment. You will work under the Supervisor of Fleet Services, showcasing skills in diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repair operations. Your expertise will directly impact the safe delivery of city services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair municipal vehicles and equipment

• Maintain records for Ministry of Transportation compliance

• Advise on maintenance and operational modifications

• Execute preventative maintenance schedules

• Respond to emergency repairs and service needs

Requirements:

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience

• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license

• Community College Diploma in Automotive Service

• Proficient in diagnostic tools and techniques

• Own a complete set of tools
