Steamfitter Technician

Elevate your mechanical skills as a Steamfitter Technician in Belleville, Ontario. This role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial piping systems and HVAC equipment.

The Steamfitter position requires a valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification – Steamfitter (307A) or registration as an apprentice. Successful candidates will handle various mechanical systems, including boilers, pumps, and piping installations. You’ll emphasize safety and compliance with all regulations, while providing exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain steam and hydronic piping systems

• Service boilers, pumps, valves, and heat exchangers

• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics

• Conduct preventative maintenance and emergency repairs

• Complete service reports accurately and timely

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with clean record

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and hydronic systems

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Safety certifications like Working at Heights are a plus
