Join Wachter as an experienced Low Voltage Cable Technician, specializing in hands-on installations and project leadership. This role demands travel and technical proficiency to ensure efficient project delivery.

Wachter is expanding and looking for a Low Voltage Cable Technician with 2-5 years of experience. This full-time position involves installing cabling systems, managing small teams, and troubleshooting technical issues on-site. You’ll also conduct testing while adhering to safety standards, making every installation impactful and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install structured cabling systems, including Cat5/Cat6 and fiber optics

• Lead small teams on multi-week projects to ensure timely completion

• Set up and configure CCTV and network devices

• Operate lifts for aerial work at heights up to 40+ feet

• Conduct system testing for compliance with industry standards

Requirements:

• 2–5 years hands-on experience in low-voltage systems

• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and CCTV deployment

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

• Must possess basic telecom tools and PPE

• Willingness to travel extensively
