Senior Technician for Overhead Doors

Step into a pivotal role as a Senior Commercial Overhead Door Technician focusing on advanced maintenance and installation in Belleville and Kingston, Ontario. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to mentor others.

You will independently handle complex repairs and provide technical leadership, playing a key role in ensuring quality and client satisfaction across service contracts. With a minimum of five years of relevant experience, your contributions will uphold safety regulations and BGIS policies in every task.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute advanced diagnostics and repairs on complex door systems

• Lead emergency service calls and complex troubleshooting

• Install, repair, and maintain door operators and hardware

• Document service activities and advise on improvements

• Mentor junior technicians and assist with onboarding

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in overhead door services

• High school education; trades certification preferred

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities

• Valid driver's license and clean background check

• Willing to work shifts and respond to on-call emergencies
