Join Ledcor as a Power Line Technician in Ontario and specialize in the construction and maintenance of power distribution systems. This safety-sensitive position offers the chance to work at heights using state-of-the-art equipment.

As a Journeyperson or Apprentice, your role involves managing both underground and overhead electrical installations while prioritizing safety and compliance. You will work with a team to ensure effective operation, repair, and maintenance of powerlines. Your ability to interpret schematics and manage materials will enhance project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and maintain power distribution systems

• Operate tools and equipment such as trenchers and truck-mounted diggers

• Read and implement construction work plans and schematics

• Track material usage and production accurately

• Promote safety practices among team members

Requirements:

• Journeyman or enrolled in a lineman apprenticeship

• 1–3 years experience in powerline construction preferred

• Class 5 driver’s license required;
Class 1 or 3 is a plus

• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents

• Physically fit and able to handle outdoor work
