About the role
  • The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the organization's financial reporting and compliance requirements.
What you'll do
  • Oversee general ledger activity, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Monitor daily cash activity.
  • Review payroll and related benefit entries.
  • Supervise and develop accounting staff.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Support external audits.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Problem‑solving, attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Primarily office based with standard business hours; occasional evenings or weekends may be required near fiscal deadlines.
