Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk's Office is to serve the public in a timely and cost-effective manner, maintaining and providing all court records, information, and services with courtesy and efficiency.
Examples Of DutiesManage day-to-day tasks as assigned Process/maintain court files/record Assist patrons, attorney, judges, etc. with case inquiries Collect statutory fines/fees Initiate court cases from filings/citations
Typical QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent Ability to efficiently and effectively use a computer with proficiency in Microsoft Word Type a minimum of 30 words per minute Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve concerns Ability to learn case management systems used by the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk's Office Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
