Project Manager; Heavy Highway​/Civil Construction

Hank’s Excavating & Landscaping, Inc. has been providing the St. Louis metropolitan area the best in quality, safety & service since 1978.We are a heavy-highway civil contractor that does everything from complete road reconstruction and storm/sanitary sewer to water work and demolition.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in DOT, earthwork and heavy civil construction.

• Working effectively with Owners, Subcontractors, Engineers and State and local government representatives
• Helping manage daily needs for the on-site superintendents
• Involved in tracking and recording job progress and cost
• Preparation and maintenance of project files
• Procurement, coordination, delivery and certification of materials via use of purchase orders
• Ensuring that work meets the standards and specifications

• Ability to read and decipher blueprints, plan scale and plan specifications
• Math skills to accurately apply formulas as they relate to concrete, asphalt, rock, dirt, etc.
• Experience with HCSS software products preferred
• Computer Skills and ability to learn systems and programs
• Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, communication and problem-solving skills
