Special Projects Coordinator: HSD

ANNOUNCEMENT

Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the part-time SWIC Educational Employee position of Special Projects Coordinator: HSD.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the Special Projects Coordinator: HSD assists the Adult Education Assistant Director in managing the HSD Program at a specific geographic location(s). The Coordinator conducts class registrations, tracks individual student progress, monitors post-testing, and helps maintain instructional supplies and equipment. The Coordinator needs a good knowledge of the HSD Program and its curriculum and the GED/HiSet testing procedures.

The position requires day, evening and possibly Saturday work hours. This is a twelve-month position and is dependent upon grant funding.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.

2. Good written and verbal communication skills are required.

3. Previous teaching experience is preferred.

4. Microsoft Office experience is preferred.

PAY AND HOURS

$26.75 per hour, up to 28 hours per week.
