Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule:

Shift: 12-hour nights; 3x12 or 4x12 approved

Assignment Details:
Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week for 3x12 schedule

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years RN experience High-risk telemetry experience Required certifications: ACLS and BLS Experience with EPIC Preferred skills:
Post-op open heart care, sheath pulls, central line management, cardiac drip management, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC management, tracheostomy care, wound/Vac care

Roles & Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patient conditions in a telemetry setting Manage high-risk cardiac telemetry and perform dysrhythmia interpretation Administer and maintain cardiac drips and post-operative care Perform sheath removal and central line care/management Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations

Weekend requirement:
Every other weekend Float within inpatient units as needed Orientation: 24 hours Maximum 7 days RTO; no RTO allowed the first week of assignment Scrub color:
Navy COVID-19 vaccine not required;
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
