BJC Health Care System is hiring a Full-Time Radiology Technologist for Memorial Hospital (Belleville, IL).

Day Shift Rotating

Schedule:

Rotating 6‑week day schedule.

• 4 days per week @ 10‑hour shifts with hours that can vary in range from start between 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM with end time between 6:30 PM and 9:00 PM.
• 5 days per week @ 8‑hour shifts with hours that can vary in range from start times between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM with an end time of 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
• Extra pay with rotating weekends and holidays – every 3rd weekend with rotating 2 holidays a year.

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education).
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R).
• License to practice in Illinois (non‑MRI) if applicable.
• Radiology Technologist – Registered
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

• No specific experience required.
• Less than 2 years is preferred.

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on‑call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
